“50 million people used to watch him on TV. Now he washes their cars.”

Dickie Roberts (David Spade) was a famous face on '70s television, and at 35 he parks cars for a living. A casting call for an ordinary guy pushes him to hire the Finney family, led by Grace (Mary McCormack), so he can live out the childhood he never had. Sam Weisman plays Spade's flat, sarcastic delivery against a stubborn, hopeful man still waiting for the spotlight to find him.
