Ethan (Douglas Smith) wakes with no memory of who he is or how he got there. A zombie-like outbreak spreads through the landscape, and a hardened survivalist named Kai (Frank Grillo) agrees to help him search for his missing girlfriend Emma. Lowell Dean builds dread through silence and empty spaces, letting the infection creep in at the edges while Ethan and Kai push deeper into the collapse.
