A 2006 animated comedy from German television, it draws on Nichts als die Wahrheit, the 2002 autobiography of music producer Dieter Bohlen. Toby Genkel and Michael Schaack follow Dieter (Bertram Hiese) from a childhood where his grandmother already says he will be someone special to a career in music, with Naddel (Antonia von Romatowski) and a devil (Harry Wijnvoord) around him. It rests on the bond between a boy and the grandmother who believed in him first.
