Different from the Others
A man named Franz Bollek (Reinhold Schünzel) spots the violinist Paul Körner (Conrad Veidt) and begins to blackmail him over his private life. Richard Oswald made this silent German drama in 1919 with Magnus Hirschfeld, who appears in it as a doctor and helped pay for it. Paul has Kurt (Fritz Schulz), a younger student, to turn to, though the threat reaches both of them.
