Digging for Fire

Tim (Jake Johnson) wants a mystery, and he finds one in the yard of the Hollywood Hills house he and his wife are minding: a bone and a rusty old gun. Lee (Rosemarie DeWitt) wants him to finish the family taxes he promised weeks ago, so the two spend the weekend apart. Joe Swanberg keeps the digging loose and the talk unscripted, and under it sits the plain question of what a marriage with a small child leaves of the people in it.
