A Digimon in Tokyo begins to rampage, and Taichi Yagami (Natsuki Hanae) and the other DigiDestined are called back to face it with the partners they haven't seen in years. Keitaro Motonaga sets the group in a world where they have grown up, with Yamato Ishida (Yoshimasa Hosoya) and Sora Takenouchi (Suzuko Mimori) now in high school. Taichi and Yamato still stand side by side, but they no longer fit together the way they did as kids.
