Taichi Yagami (Natsuki Hanae) has watched Meicoomon turn without warning and kill Leomon, and now the Digimon are shut away in Koushiro's office so the infection can't reach them. Keitaro Motonaga keeps Taichi and Yamato (Yoshimasa Hosoya) waiting on the other side of that door as signs of the sickness begin to show in Patamon. Inside the office, the Digimon sit apart from their partners, and one of them has started to change.
