Dik Trom

The Trom family packs up and leaves a town that lives for food and fun, because a restaurant chain has offered Pa (Marcel Musters) the chance to run his own place. Dik (Michael Nierse), a round, cheerful teenager, arrives in Dunhoven to find neighbors who care about fitness and not much else. Arne Toonen's film sets one boy's appetite against a whole town's discipline, and nobody there is ready to say which of them has it right.
