Dil Se..

“Moments of Pain.. Moments of Love.”

Amarkanth Varma (Shah Rukh Khan) is a radio journalist sent to cover the unrest in Assam, and he falls hard for Meghna (Manisha Koirala), a stranger who gives him nothing back. Months later, with his wedding to Preeti Nair (Preity Zinta) arranged, Meghna turns up at his door asking for help. Mani Ratnam sets the story against the insurgency, and it comes down to a man who takes wanting someone for love, and a woman who cannot afford to be wanted.
