Louis Cropa (Danny Aiello) books bets on the side and runs a Tribeca restaurant that has turned into his son's kitchen, where the star chef's inventive cooking fills the tables every night. On one busy evening, a food critic sits down expecting to be impressed, while two gangsters circle the place to take it over. Bob Giraldi crowds the dining room and the kitchen into a single night, and Louis tries to keep everything he built standing.
