Director's Cut

“Herbert Blount would kill to make a movie. So he did... This is it.”

Herbert Blount (Penn Jillette) backed Adam Rifkin's new feature, Knocked Off, through crowdfunding, and he hates what he sees. So he steals the footage and kidnaps its actress Missi Pyle, who plays herself, to star in his own "director's cut." Rifkin keeps the camera on both of them while the set turns into a hostage situation, and Missi has to keep performing to stay alive.
