“Violence Is A Language People Understand”

A scandal inside the LAPD has to be buried, and two officers, both former gang members, are put in charge of burying it. Officer Armando Sancho (Clifton Collins Jr.) and Salim Adel (Cuba Gooding Jr.) answer to a lieutenant (Cole Hauser) and a captain (Keith David), and the cover-up pulls them further into the city's nights. Chris Fisher stays close on the two men and keeps Los Angeles cramped and unwelcoming.
