Disconnected

“Is anybody there?”

The phone calls start after Alicia (Frances Sherman) breaks up with her boyfriend Mike (Carl Koch), and the voice on the line is strange enough that she can't place it or shake it. She works at a video rental store in a small Connecticut town, where she meets Franklin (Mark Walker), an awkward film nerd, while killings are being reported among the locals. Gorman Bechard keeps her alone with the ringing phone, and every person near her starts to look like a suspect.
