Lauren Curran (Christina Ricci) and her husband Russell (Brendan Fletcher) move into a high-tech residential building where the apartments are run by smart systems. Lauren comes to suspect that the owner, Vernon Sarsfield (John Cusack), is using the technology for sinister ends. Rob W. King keeps the camera inside the couple's home, and Lauren stands among the screens and sensors, unsure which of them is watching her.
