District B13

(2004)Directed by Pierre Morel84 min · RAction, Thriller, Science Fiction
“Welcome to District B13. Welcome to the future”

In Paris in 2010, the poorest housing blocks have been walled off from the rest of the city and left to the gangs. Leïto (David Belle), who lives inside, is sent in with Captain Damien Tomaso (Cyril Raffaelli), an undercover cop, to defuse a neutron bomb. Pierre Morel builds the chases from parkour, with Belle running and vaulting through the stairwells and rooftops himself, no wires and no CGI.
