Divine Intervention

E.S. (Elia Suleiman) lives in Nazareth, where he watches his father (Nayef Fahoum Daher) go through the mail each morning and fall ill. Suleiman cuts between neighbors throwing garbage over walls, Santa Claus running from knife-wielding youths, and the hospital room where son sits by father. Every few days E.S. meets The Woman (Manal Khader) at the Al-Ram checkpoint, where they sit in a parked car and touch hands.
