“Evil wants an heir.”

Khalid (Khalid Laith) brings his wife Salama (Razane Jammal) home to the United Arab Emirates, hoping a new place will ease the grief of losing their infant child. They settle into Al Hamra, a luxury apartment block built on the site of an abandoned fishing village that legend says was emptied by malevolent beings. Tobe Hooper keeps the camera in the building's eerie hallways, where Salama stands uneasy and Khalid watches her.
