“A truth hidden in every lie.”

Vidya Jyothi (Kajol), a police officer who goes by VJ, has no patience for a story that sounds too neat. A woman accuses her husband Dhruv (Shaheer Sheikh) of trying to kill her, and the case pulls VJ toward Saumya and Shailee (Kriti Sanon), twin sisters bound by a bitter rivalry. Shashanka Chaturvedi keeps Dhruv between the two women, a man both of them love, whom the film never lets leave the room.
