Do You Remember Dolly Bell?

Dino (Slavko Štimac) is a teenager in 1960s Sarajevo, kept in line by his father (Slobodan Aligrudić), a decent man who is already sick. Then a gang of small-time crooks offers him work, and the first job is to hide a young prostitute, Dolly Bell (Ljiljana Blagojević), and he falls for her. Emir Kusturica, in his first feature, treats growing up as a matter of picking between the father you have and the people who make room for you.
