Doberman Cop

Tokyo in 1977 is a crowded city of nightclubs, talent agencies and back-street flesh trade, and a woman from Okinawa has been found murdered in it. Joji Kano (Sonny Chiba), a rough-edged cop from the Okinawan backcountry, is sent to investigate, and Kinji Fukasaku follows him from one seedy district to the next. Kano walks the neon streets in his dark jacket, a man from the countryside standing out in the crowd.
