A message reaches Clark "Doc" Savage Jr. (Ron Ely) in the 1930s: his father has died somewhere in the wilds of South America. He gathers his five Amazing Adventurers, among them Renny (William Lucking) and Monk (Michael Miller), and heads for the country of Hidalgo. Michael Anderson sends them after a hoard of Incan gold, with the maniacal Captain Seas ready to block them at every turn.
