Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is a brilliant neurosurgeon whose hands are destroyed in a car accident, leaving him desperate to restore them. He travels to Nepal seeking a cure and finds a hidden sanctuary where an ancient order teaches the manipulation of time and space. Strange must choose between returning to his old life or mastering powers that could save the world from a sorcerer determined to destroy it.
