Doctor X

“Out-thrills them all!”

Reporter Lee Taylor (Lee Tracy) chases the Moon Killer murders across New York, and every trail leads back to a medical academy. Its head, Dr. Jerry Xavier (Lionel Atwill), keeps his staff under watch while his daughter Joanne (Fay Wray) tries to keep Lee out. Michael Curtiz stages the story as a theatrical puzzle, and Lee keeps cracking jokes while he pushes in closer.
