Dog Gone

“To find what's lost, a father and son will do the impossible.”

Fielding Marshall (Johnny Berchtold) loses his dog on the Appalachian Trail, and the animal is carrying an illness that needs medication. Fielding and his parents, John (Rob Lowe) and Ginny (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), set out together to find him before the medicine runs out. Stephen Herek keeps the camera on the three of them, trading the wide outdoor country for the small, close arguments of a family on foot.
