Dog on Trial

Avril Lucciani (Laetitia Dosch) is an idealistic lawyer who takes on lost causes, and her newest client is Cosmos, a dog that has bitten three people. If she loses, Cosmos will be put down, so the first canine trial in the courts has to end in her favor. Dosch, making her directing debut with this loosely true story, plays a courtroom where the question is who gets to be treated as someone.
