Dolittle

“He's just not a people person.”

Dr. John Dolittle (Robert Downey Jr.) is the celebrated animal doctor of Queen Victoria's England, and since his wife died seven years ago he has stayed behind the walls of Dolittle Manor with only his animals. Then the young queen falls gravely ill, and Stephen Gaghan sends him out to sea, with a boy named Tommy Stubbins (Harry Collett) in tow. The only cure is on a mythical island, and if he fails to reach it, the queen dies.
