“It Wants to Play.”

A mother grieving her lost child discovers a life-sized ancient doll at a market and brings it into her home. When the family adopts a new daughter, Yoshie Suzuki (Masami Nagasawa) and her husband Tadahiko (Koji Seto) begin to notice the doll moving, appearing in rooms they've locked it away from, resisting every attempt to be discarded. The doll mirrors what the family has already learned: some griefs don't leave because you are not ready to let them go.
