Don Camillo in Moscow

Don Camillo Tarocci (Fernandel), the village priest, blackmails his old rival Giuseppe "Peppone" Bottazzi (Gino Cervi) into a seat on the Communist delegation bound for the Soviet Union. Luigi Comencini sends the pair off together, the mayor in his party colors and the priest hiding his cassock among the comrades. The film leaves Peppone with a stowaway in the group, a long face under borrowed clothes.
