Don't Answer the Phone!

“...He'll Know You're Alone!”

Kirk Smith (Nicholas Worth), a Vietnam veteran, spends his days photographing young women and his nights strangling them. Lt. Chris McCabe (James Westmoreland) works the case in Los Angeles while Dr. Lindsay Gale (Flo Lawrence) takes calls from troubled listeners on her radio show, and Kirk starts listening for the ones who sound alone. Robert Hammer's film asks you to sit close to a man who hunts the lonely, with nothing on screen to make him easier to watch.
