Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

(1996)Directed by Paris Barclay89 min · RComedy, Crime
“Finally, the movie that proves that Justice isn't always Poetic, Jungle Fever isn't always pretty, and Higher Learning can be a waste of time.”

Nobody in South Central seems to notice that Ashtray's father looks the same age he does, or that his grandmother talks tough and smokes reefer. Ashtray (Shawn Wayans) has come to live with them, and his cousin Loc Dog (Marlon Wayans) carries pistols, an Uzi, and a thermo-nuclear warhead for self-defense. Paris Barclay's film puts Ashtray's straight life on the line, with Loc Dog as the one pulling him toward the gang.
