Don't Bother to Knock

“… a wicked sensation as the lonely girl in room 809!”

Jed Towers (Richard Widmark), an airline pilot, wants company for the night and finds it in a hotel, where Nell Forbes (Marilyn Monroe) is babysitting for a couple at a party downstairs. Roy Ward Baker keeps nearly the whole film inside the building, and the more Jed talks with her, the less steady she seems. Nell stands at the window of the room, young Bunny Jones (Donna Corcoran) asleep behind her.
