“Family is a trip.”

A California father learns he is dying and sets out in a car for his twentieth college reunion in New Orleans. His teenage daughter Wally (Mia Isaac) rides along, and Max (John Cho) has a quiet plan to put her back in touch with the mother who left them long ago. Hannah Marks keeps the road trip loose and sunlit for as long as the film can.
