Don't Torture a Duckling

Boys are turning up dead in a remote southern Italian town, and the villagers, steeped in superstition, point fast at anyone who isn't one of them. Lucio Fulci sends in Andrea Martelli (Tomas Milian), a reporter from outside, who starts digging beside Patrizia (Barbara Bouchet), a restless young woman the townspeople already whisper about. Two outsiders who trust nobody else end up leaning on each other as the suspicion tightens around them.
