Dormant Beauty

In Italy, a court has ruled that the feeding tube keeping Eluana Englaro alive may be removed, and her last six days begin. Marco Bellocchio follows several lives pulled into the argument, among them the senator Uliano Beffardi (Toni Servillo) and the actress Divina Madre (Isabelle Huppert), who has spent years at the bedside of her own sleeping daughter. Each story keeps its own clock, and for every one of them the question of who gets to decide has a deadline.
