“Danger is in the details.”

Carmen Collazo (Natalia Verbeke), a Spanish woman, is days from marrying the kind, steady Barnaby (James D'Arcy) when a night out ends with her kissing a stranger, Kit Winter (Gael García Bernal), an actor. Matthew Parkhill sets their meeting against the engagement she has agreed to, and she can't make herself walk away from it. Carmen wants both men, and the film follows what that costs her.
