Dovlatov

Sergei Dovlatov (Milan Marić) is a Leningrad writer in the 1970s who wants only to be published, and the Soviet state keeps closing the door. Aleksei German Jr. follows him through six days among the city's artists, among them his friend Iosif Brodskiy (Arthur Beschastny), while the machinery that crushes them runs in the background. Dovlatov's marriage to Elena (Helena Sujecka) and his love for their daughter Katya (Eva Gerr) are what he keeps trying to protect.
