Down a Dark Hall

“Welcome to Blackwood. Where lost girls find their way.”

Kit (AnnaSophia Robb) is a troubled girl whose family sends her to Blackwood, an exclusive boarding school that has taken in only four other female students. Madame Duret (Uma Thurman), the headmistress, teaches the girls the four pillars of knowledge, and Rodrigo Cortés keeps the house close and airless. Kit's one real footing there is Izzy (Isabelle Fuhrman), a fellow student she can trust in a place where nothing is explained.
