Down Periscope

“A rusty sub. A rebel commander. A renegade crew. When destiny called, they should have hung up.”

Lt. Commander Tom Dodge (Kelsey Grammer) has always wanted to command a nuclear submarine, and he gets one last chance to clean up his record. His nemesis, Rear Admiral Graham (Bruce Dern), hands him the Stingray instead, a diesel-powered World War II relic crewed by misfits. David S. Ward sends Dodge into a war game as the "enemy" against the Navy's best, a sloppy, scruffy officer who knows the sea better than the book.
