Down the Rabbit Hole

“In a world of crime and chaos, a curious child finds that innocence is the greatest illusion.”

Tochtli (Miguel Valverde) is a boy raised in a palace of marble and fine art, tutored in philosophy and French and kept well away from the work that pays for all of it. His father, Yolcaut (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), runs a criminal empire, and Manolo Caro starts the story with that darkness already seeping into the house. The film keeps returning to the two of them, a devoted father and a son who cannot see what he is.
