“She Sings And Dances like an Angel!”

In 1947 New York, a Broadway producer named Danny Miller (Larry Parks) is putting on a new musical that makes comedy out of the Nine Muses. Terpsichore (Rita Hayworth), the Greek goddess of dance, hears about it and comes down to earth to win a part in the show and change it. Alexander Hall's film sends her into Danny's rehearsals as Kitty Pendleton, a chorus girl with a very odd past.
