Downhill

“A different kind of disaster movie.”

A family ski holiday in the Alps stalls over a single lunch on a restaurant terrace, when an avalanche rolls down the slope toward the tables. Billie (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and Pete Stanton (Will Ferrell) get through it, but what each of them did in those few seconds is now sitting between them. Nat Faxon and Jim Rash follow the couple through the rest of the trip, where Billie wants an explanation, Pete has a different version, and their marriage is what's at risk.
