Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Dr. Henry Jekyll (Spencer Tracy) is a respected physician who holds that good and evil live side by side in every person, and he sets out to prove it on himself. His engagement to Beatrix Emery (Lana Turner) goes on, and so does his friendship with the cautious Dr. Lanyon (Ian Hunter). Victor Fleming follows the experiment as Jekyll drinks a potion that lets his darker half walk out as Mr. Hyde, and the man who wanted only to prove his theory starts to want more.
