Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler

Dr. Mabuse (Rudolf Klein-Rogge) wants the stock exchange, and he gets there by stealing information and sending his criminal organization out to do the work. He slips into the Folies Bergères to collect a tip from Cara Carozza (Aud Egede-Nissen) about his next victim, the young millionaire Edgar Hull. Fritz Lang sets Prosecutor von Wenk (Bernhard Goetzke) against him, and Mabuse treats the whole city as a card table he intends to clear.
