Dr. T & the Women

“He is overwhelmed by the woman in his life”

Dr. Sullivan Travis (Richard Gere), a wealthy Dallas gynecologist, just wants an hour to himself, and the women in his life have other plans. His wife Kate (Farrah Fawcett) is unraveling, his daughters (Laura Dern among them) bring their own crises, and his secretary Bree (Helen Hunt) has a crush. Robert Altman lets the waiting rooms fill and overlap, and the one person who asks nothing of Dr. T is Bree.
