Dracula

“Throughout history he has filled the hearts of men with terror, and the hearts of women with desire.”

In 1913, a ship carrying Count Dracula (Frank Langella) reaches the English coast, and the man who steps ashore is courteous, well dressed, and looking for an immortal bride. He is welcomed by Dr. Jack Seward (Donald Pleasence) and his daughter Lucy (Kate Nelligan), while Professor Van Helsing (Laurence Olivier) begins to suspect what has arrived. John Badham stages the story as a love story first, where hunger and desire are close to the same wanting.
