Dracula Has Risen from the Grave

“He lives! They die! Christopher Lee as the fanged undead.”

Monsignor Ernst Mueller (Rupert Davies) wants the village of Keineneburg to stop living in the shadow of Castle Dracula, so he climbs up to exorcise it. A priest's head-wound bleeds onto the frozen ground, and Dracula (Christopher Lee) wakes, hungry for the village below. Freddie Francis frames the castle high over the rooftops, and the Monsignor's niece Maria (Veronica Carlson) sleeps with her window open.
