Dracula's Daughter

(1936)Directed by Lambert Hillyer71 minHorror
“She gives you that WEIRD FEELING.”

Countess Marya Zaleska (Gloria Holden) arrives in London after her father's death, hoping a psychiatrist can free her from the craving she has inherited. Jeffrey Garth (Otto Kruger) agrees to treat her while Professor Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan) is held for the old killings. Lambert Hillyer directs it as a quiet, slow-moving chamber piece, with long pauses and little noise.
