Dragon Inn

Why does a minister's family, sent into exile in the year 1457, matter enough that the tyrant Tsao sends soldiers after the children too? The answer waits at a remote border inn, where a handful of strangers gather in the same night. King Hu fills the place with Hsiao Shao-Tzu (Shih Chun), Miss Chu Huei (Polly Shang-Kuan Ling-Feng) and the others, and each of them has a reason to be there that he is not saying.
