“The mystery. The life. The love. The legend.”

Bruce Lee (Jason Scott Lee) grows up in Hong Kong on strict martial arts training and carries one plan to America: his own kung-fu school. He opens it, marries Linda (Lauren Holly), and gets noticed by a Hollywood producer, while the racism around him pushes back at every step. Rob Cohen films the fights and the family scenes with the same warmth, building the story to please a crowd.
