“They have to get free, foil the bad guys, and get to the TRL studio in time”

Drake Parker (Drake Bell) wants a shot at being an actor, and his stepbrother Josh Nichols (Josh Peck) wants to go along as his friend, the pair of them dreaming about Hollywood. Then they mix up a luggage tag and put their little sister Megan (Miranda Cosgrove) on a plane to Los Angeles, which means chasing after her. Steve Hoefer directs this TV movie at the speed of the series, keeping the same two boys and the same kitchen-table bickering.
